I was backing out to get comfortably in a parkng space. I made one more reverse, and a car suddenly turned and hit my car. She only honked when it was too late. I made sure it was no one behind or on the sides. I did everything right. But my insurance claim said that I was at fault. They attepmted to explain, but I still cant grasp the concept. I was not at fault because I did everyting right, and follwed the rules. Why was I at fault versus another careless driver?

My daughter was in an mva. She was a passenger,her friend was the driver.He recieved a ticket for carless driving. She recieved 6 broken ribs, a broken sternum,and a soft tissue injury to her right foot, among other things.His insurance company is going to pay but now I’m being told that I have to pay a 250.00 deductible, and a 20% portion of 4762.00. I cant pay this I’m not working now. How can they charge me when I’s clearly her friends fault? Should’nt he be paying everything?
